Rabbi Maya Yael Glasser
Rabbi Maya Glasser currently serves as Assistant Rabbi at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, NJ. She was ordained from the New York campus of Hebrew Union-College Jewish Institute of Religion in 2018 with their first-ever Certificate in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Some of her favorite parts of being a rabbi are meeting and developing connections with congregants of all ages, learning and growing through classes, prayer and rituals, and constantly striving to make our ancient texts new again. Rabbi Glasser is a member of the CCAR (Central Conference of American Rabbis) and the WRN (Womens Rabbinic Nework). She is pleased to be a part of the CCAR Committee on Worship and Practice, and the Editorial Board of their upcoming Mourning App. She also enjoys her involvement as an ARZA board member of the American Zionist Movement, and founder of the New Brunswick Interfaith Female Clergy Alliance. In her free time, Rabbi Glasser loves listening to show tunes, learning to knit, and praying for the New York Mets.
